As a result of operative-search measures implemented by officers of Surakhani District Police Department, 14 people involved in illicit trafficking and sale of drugs in the territory of Hovsan, Amirjan, Bulbula, Zigh and Garachukhur settlements of the district.
 
So that, during the operation firstly, Ramin Nuriyev involved in the sale of drugs was detained. About 1kg of heroin and 64g methamphetamine were found on him and from his house.
The detained person stated that he was involved in the sale of drugs in Surakhani settlement in his statement.

Note that Ramin Nuriyev used the name “Ramish” not to be recognized among people buying drugs from him. Moreover, during the operation implemented by officers of Surakhani District Police Department, Azar Imanov, Mehbali Rzayev, Farman Aliyev, Orkhan Ibrahimov and Rashad Asgarov involved in the sale of drugs and previously convicted for many times were also detained. Large amount of heroin and methamphetamine was also found on those people.

Note that images of Azar Imanov and Mehbali Rzayev while using drugs were also shared on social media.
During other operations implemented by officers of Surakhani District Police Department, Elnur Baghirov, Murad Gafarov, Aghammad Vahidov, Ilaha Rahimova, Rahman Huseynov, Mahammad Aliyev, Murad Mammadzada and Siruz Hajiyev who were involved in illicit drug trafficking in the territory of the district were also detained.

Large amount of heroin and methamphetamine was also found on and taken from them. Those people admitted that they were involved in the sale of drugs in their statements.
Note that during the last operations totally more than 2kg of drugs and psychotropic substances were seized in Surakhani.

Investigations were launched on facts in Surakhani District Police Department. Above mentioned persons were detained and are under investigation and the court imposed pre-trial detention on them. Now operative-search measures are being conducted by officers of Surakhani District Police Department for seizing drugs.
