With organizational support and initiative of Baku city MPD, police officers hold meetings with teachers and students of secondary schools, acting on the territory of the capital, give recommendations and valuable advices concerning consequences of scourge named narcomania, worrying society. 

An event on topic “Narcomania is a universal problem” and “Healthy life style” was held at complete secondary school No. 272 on February, 3. At the event it was noticed that significant laws for the purpose of strengthening anti-drug efforts were adopted, government programs on solution of this problem were carried out in our country.
   
Kamala Alakbarova, police major, officer of the Department of Public Safety of MPD, speaking at the event, emphasized that decisive fight against distribution of narcotic substances, psychoactive substances and their precursors is one the most important problems standing not only before the police, but also before the whole society, because distribution of narcotic drugs is a global problem and creates a danger for gene pool of population. When taking narcotic substances a man destroys himself either physically and psychologically. Significant part of responsibility in struggle against this evil is entrusted to parents and teachers, as well as on labor collectives.   

At the end of the event, police officers listened suggestions of participants, gave detailed answers to questions of teachers and students.
