Vigilance of police officer and his conscientious and responsible approach to his duty saved human life in Baku.

Shaig Isgandarov, at the age of 38, a resident of Sabunchu settlement of the capital, some days ago, shared his status on social networks, about that he wanted to commit suicide. In his room he injured himself with cutting means after sharing this status.

Sh.Isgandarov lost his consciousness after sharing his photos on social networks. One of the followers of Shaig on the social network called and informed “102” Call Center of MIA about the status that a person whose address is unknown in Sabunchu settlement, wanted to commit suicide, and the information was passed to the 12th police station of District Police Department. The officers of the station immediately started the search to save that person’s life.

When police officers contacted the person who wants to commit suicide, he said deliberately the address of his house and the colour of the entrance door of the apartment wrongly. The police officer who found the house and saved Sh.Isgandarov’s life was Senior Police Lieutenant Alasgar Huseynov , the investigator of 12th Police Station of Sabunchu District Police Department.

Ambulance could not enter that place because the street where the house situated was narrow. So the police had to carry Sh.Isgandarov in their hands to the ambulance in order to save his life.
