On September 9, about 3 p.m., 20-25 people, violating the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Freedom of Assembly", gathered on Istiglaliyyat street in Sabail district without the consent of the city's Executive authorities and tried to carry out a procession along the street.
Police officers stopped this illegal street procession. The participants were removed from the territory.
No arrests or detentions were made.
