ROGUE POLICEMEN WERE UNMASKED

By this time it has been already the second case when the police received the complaint of citizens about “police”. The content was the same – fraud. Persons in police uniforms, introducing themselves as police officers, caused enormous damage to citizens by falsifying documents for different flats. Operatives, considering information, were assured that these persons committed the crime under the name of police. They should be detained and handed over to investigation, and their fraud activities should be exposed.    
   
Thus, as a result operative-research activities carried out by the police officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of Baku city Main Police Department, rogue policemen Baku city residents Mammadov Nazim Tahir born in 1978, Adilov Zaur Ildirim born in 1982 and Tovuz region resident Bayramov Ilkin Samir born in 1993, were taken red-handed. The fact found its confirmation, as a result of operative-search activities it was detected that these persons embezzled 10.000 manats, betraying the confidence of Baku city resident Elshad Muradov born in 1976 at the office of real estate agency, located on 10, A.Alakbarov street on January 21, at about 22:00, and 95.000 manats, betraying the confidence of Absheron region resident Elgun Alakbarov born in 1982 on Azerbaijan avenue near the  administrative building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on January 28 at about 18:00.

As a result of urgent investigation and operative-research actions, carried out in relation to suspected persons, it was found out that N. Mammadov, previously conducted under articles on theft, fraud, extortion using threat, in order to deserve the confidence of citizens, wearing service police uniform illegally posed himself off as a police officer, with major rank, Z. Adilov posed himself off as senior police lieutenant, carried out sale and purchase of flats in multistoreyed residential buildings by means of falsification of documents. And I.Bayramov, a student, worked as the driver of the organized group.

A criminal case was issued over the fact in Investigation Department of Baku city MPD, investigation and operative-search activities are being carried on.
