The Minister of Internal Affairs, Vilayat Eyvazov, conducted another citizen reception and an inspection parade in the Balakan region

As per the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the regional citizen reception schedule, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov, held another citizen reception at the Balakan Region Police Department on December 3 and 4.
The minister first visited the monument to the national leader Heydar Aliyev in the Balakan region and paid tribute to his memory.
Following this, after listening to the appeals of 194 citizens from the Balakan, Zagatala, Gakh, Sheki, Oguz, and Gabala regions and cities at the administrative building of the Balakan Region Police Department, the minister directed the heads of the relevant divisions and departments within the ministry to address their concerns. Most of the appeals were resolved on-site with the appropriate measures being taken.
The Minister of Internal Affairs, General-Colonel V. Eyvazov, tasked the police chiefs with applying more effective measures to ensure public safety and combat crime, and to review citizens' appeals in a timely and objective manner.
During his visit, General-Colonel V. Eyvazov went to the internal troops military unit in Zagatala, where he reviewed the service and social conditions provided for the servicemen.
The Minister visited the memorial erected in honor of the servicemen who gave their lives for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country.
Finally, Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov conducted an inspection parade of young people wishing to serve in the police.
A total of 198 individuals, including 34 veterans of the Patriotic War, who met the recruitment criteria, were allowed to proceed to the next stage of the selection process.
