A robbery took place in Bina settlement of Khazar district, Baku city. At night, an unknown person blocked a truck moving along the road, injured the driver with a bladed article and took the money he had.
As a result of the measures taken by the 3rd Police Unit of the Khazar DPD, Tariyel Mammadov, previously convicted of theft, as well as for crimes related to drug trafficking, was detained.
During the investigation, it was established that prior to the above-mentioned robbery, the detainee stole bank cards, cash, stereos and other items from several cars in the settlement, breaking the side windows in them.
Investigative and operational measures are ongoing.
