According to the instruction of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, in accordance with the schedule of reception of citizens by the heads of central executive bodies in the regions of the Republic, Minister of internal affairs Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov held the next reception in Guba District Police Department on May 24-25.
The minister of internal affairs firstly visited the statue of national leader Heydar Aliyev in Guba city and honored his dear memory with great respect and laid flowers at it.

Then, the minister who received 72 citizens from Guba, Gusar, Shabran, Siyazan, Khizi, Khachmaz districts in the administrative building of the District Police Department, listened to their appeals and gave instructions to the heads of the relevant head offices and departments of the Ministry to solve their problems.
Most of the appeals were resolved on the spot.

The citizens who came to the reception thanked the president for the attention and care shown to them, the prompt approach to their applications and appeals by the heads of state bodies.
Later, Colonel General V.Eyvazov conducted a queue inspection of the recruitment to service in the police bodies of the northern region to ordinary and small chief staff.

Young people living in the surrounding regions who wish to serve in the police took part in the queue inspection. 101 people who met the conditions of admission to the service were admitted to the next stage of the selection round, 37 of them were participants of the Patriotic War and 7 were members of the families of martyrs.
In conclusion, the minister of internal affairs, Colonel General V.Eyvazov gave instructions to the police chiefs of the mentioned regions on the use of more effective measures in the protection of public order, in the fight against crime, and in the operative and objective consideration of citizens’ appeals.
