More than 12 kilograms of heroin, 4 kilograms 70 grams of methamphetamine, a psychotropic substance called “pati”, “bottle” among drug users and digital scales were found on him and in the house where he lived. The detainee confessed that he obtained it from a citizen of one of the foreign countries he met on social networks in order to sell drugs and psychotropic substances.

Anar Mammadov, a resident of Baku, was detained for selling banned pills containing psychotropic substances during another operation carried out by the employees of the Main Department in Yasamal district. 10 Tramadol, 10 Pregabalin and 9 Methadone pills were found on him. As a further operation, in addition to Anar Mammadov's apartment in Yasamal district, 680 “Methadone”, 20 “Pregabalin”, 80 Tramadol pills, 40 “Ecstasy” pills for sale mainly among young people, about 200 grams of mephedrone, which is considered a very dangerous psychotropic substance, and 1 digital scale were found.

Two people suspected of drug trafficking - residents of the capital Alexander Nagorny and Sarkhan Dashdamirli were detained during another operation conducted by the employees of the Main Department in Yasamal district. A total of 42 grams of methamphetamine, a chemical drug, Bonzai, including 1,295 Pregabalin and Ecstasy pills, 1 digital scale and plastic card used for non-cash money transfers when selling drugs on social networks was revealed. During another operation carried out by the employees of the Main Department against Drug Trafficking in Nasimi district, Vadim Shafiyev and Marahim Shahbazov, who had been convicted several times before, were detained. Totally, more than 12 kilograms, including 8 kilograms 90 grams of heroin, 2 kilograms 725 grams of opium, 1 kilogram 375 marijuana and 2 digital scales were found on these people.

Firstly, citizen Ilgar Bayramov was detained as a result of further operation carried out by the employees of the Main Drug Enforcement Department to combat drug traffickers online. About 7 grams of cocaine belonging to the group of very dangerous drugs, 117 grams of “Bonzai”, 60 grams of "Methamphetamine" 1124 pills and 1 digital scale were found on him and his address.
As a follow-up to the operation, Samir Agayev, a resident of Baku who sold drugs to Ilgar Bayramov online, was also detained. 632 ecstasy pills, 48 grams of cocaine and 1 electronic scale were found on him and his house in Nizami district. The investigation revealed that these persons set up various accounts on social networks and managed the online sale of drugs and psychotropic pills, mainly among young people.

Citizen Raib Huseynov was detained as a result of the latest operation performed by the employees of the Main Department against drug dealers in the Sabunchu district of the capital. About 400 grams of "Cocaine", "Methamphetamine", "Bonzai", "Marijuana", including a total of 878 tablets "Ecstasy", "Pregabalin", "Methadone" and 1 digital scale were found on him and his place of residence.
Totally, more than 30 kilograms of drugs including 4,778 psychotropic pills "Ecstasy", "Pregabalin", "Methadone" and "Tramadol" were detected and withdrawn from illegal circulation by the employees of the Main Department during the last operations.

Criminal proceedings have been launched under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code and the mentioned people were detained and investigated. Necessary investigative measures are underway on criminal cases.
