On June 3 at about 18:00 in the territory of Nasimi district unknown person whipped away the gold necklace of Baku citizen Ulkar Rahimova by using force against her.

As a result of joint investigative operations immediately carried out by the officers of the Nasimi District Police Department and Quick Police Regiment on the territory, previously convicted Ali Taghiyev who was suspected of committing the crime has been detained a few hundred meters away from the site of the occurrence.

During the investigation it was also revealed that he had robbed another woman named Dilara Ganiyeva by beating and grabbing her gold necklace in the territory of Nasimi district on the same day.

In the result of operational activities conducted around the detainee A.Taghiyev three robberies and two pillages committed by him against women on the territory of Nasimi and Narimanov districts were found out.

A criminal case on the fact started under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and the investigation is underway.
