7 more people who brought 24 kilos of drugs to the country were arrested during the operations carried out in Narimanov district

Police officers continue measures to prevent drug trafficking. 7 other people who smuggled drugs from Iran into the country - Hasan Hajizada, born in 1993, Emil Aliyev, born in 1991, Rufat Mehdiyev, born in 1987, Nariman Safarov, born in 1999, Hamayil Abdullayeva, born in 1982, Vugar Hasanov, born in 1986, and Yusif Mammadov, born in 1989 were identified and detained by police officers of the Narimanov District Police Department during other events. Among them, 24 kilograms were found, including 9 kilograms of strong heroin, 3 kilograms of methamphetamine called “pati”, “crystal”, 12 kilograms of marijuana enriched with psychotropic substances, 800 “methadone” tablets and electronic scales.

As a result of the investigation, it was established that the detainees obtained the identities of Iranian citizens named “Said” and “Abbas” for the purpose of selling drugs.
As far as the facts are concerned, proceedings have been instituted under the corresponding article of the Criminal Code. Operational-investigative measures are in progress in order to insinuate additional persons into the group to which these persons belong.
It is worth mentioning that since the beginning of 2023, in operations carried out by the Narimanov district police department, a total of more than 60 kilograms of different types of drugs with energy-producing properties have been removed from illegal circulation.
