The heads of police departments of the regions liberated from occupation were appointed as temporary commandants of their regions.

This is stated by the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Orders signed by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On organization of temporary special administration in the territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation" dated on October 29, 2020, heads of police departments of the liberated regions were appointed as temporary commandants of their regions.

Other tasks that follow from this Decree are still being performed.
