Preventive measures are under way

The police continue to take preventive measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
 
Against the background of the glorious victories of our army in the near-front zone in the liberation war for the occupied lands, police officers continue to tirelessly serve in the rear in the fight with invisible enemy - coronavirus, under the conditions of military situation declared in the country. Thus, within the rules of the special quarantine regime, declared to prevent the spread of infection on the country territory and its possible consequences, police officers regularly carry out control and preventive measures.

In order to avoid new cases of infection, based on the current sanitary and epidemiological situation, and to maintain the positive dynamics achieved by the state, compliance with the requirements of the current quarantine regime is constantly monitored by the employees involved.

In closed premises, public transport, as well as in the subway and public catering facilities, police officers and internal troops conduct preventive conversations with citizens, give constant recommendations to comply with sanitary and epidemiological standards, meet social distance, and wear a medical mask.

In the fight against coronavirus infection (COVID-19), police officers and internal troops engaged in service at the entrances and exits of Baku underground system, talk to passengers entering the metro and demand to comply with the current rules. According to these rules, passengers must follow the "Guidelines for the prevention of coronavirus infection in public transport", including using medical mask in the metro.

It should be noted that in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection in the country and its possible consequences, the period of the special quarantine regime in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan was extended until 06:00 on November 2, 2020.
