As a result of operational search activities carried out by the employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Baku city Main Police Department, Samir Ismaylov, a resident of Ujar region, was detained, suspected of stealing a laptop, wristwatch and gold jewelry priced at 1535 AZN from one of the apartments located on the territory of Narimanov district.

According to the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, while giving evidence to the Police Department, he confessed to committing thefts at about 30 apartments in the capital. Note that the moment of theft by him was caught on security cameras installed in the corridors of some apartments.

The detainee sold part of the jewelry at knockdown price in Sumgayit city.
