The person who committed theft at 65 food, clothing and mobile phone shops, including pharmacies, in the capital and Absheron district was detained.

According to the information of the press service of the MIA, as a result of the operation carried out by the employees of the Baku city Main Police Department, Narimanov District Police Department and the 18th Police Department, the person who committed a series of theft in the capital and Absheron district was detained. During the event, the resident of Shamkir region Sardar Panahov was detained. During the investigation, it was proved that he committed theft from a total of 65 food, clothing and mobile phone shops, including pharmacies, in the capital and Absheron district. In his testimony, Sardar Panahov said that the number of thefts he committed was hundreds.

A criminal case has been launched against the detainee in connection with the above-mentioned facts under several clauses of the theft article of the Criminal Code, and the investigations are continued.
