Persons who committed theft at a house and illegally carried Makarov model pistol were detained in Nasimi district

According to the information given by the Press Service of the MIA, a theft was committed in one of the houses located on Bakikhanov street, Nasimi district. Unidentified persons entered the house, stole jewelry and clothing belonging to various companies, as well as two hunting rifles with relevant documents. During the incident, the affected house owners suffered a total of about 9000 manats.

Ali Allahverdiyev and Etibar Jabbarov, suspected of committing the said incident, were detained as a result of the operation carried out by the employees of the Nasimi District Police Department and the Police Department No. 20. On the day of the incident, the detainees had went to theft in a KIA model car belonging to Etibar Jabbarov. Some of the items stolen from the house were found and taken from them as material evidence.

As a result of another operation carried out by employees of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Nasimi District Police Department, the person illegally carrying a weapon was detained. Thus, the Department received operational information about a person named Eltun illegally carrying a weapon. As a result of an urgent measure taken, the resident of Imishli region Eltun Mammadov was detained in Nasimi district. When conducting a personal search on him, 1 Makarov model pistol, 1 clip and 5 cartridges were found and taken.

A criminal case has been launched in connection with both facts under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code by the Investigation Division of the Nasimi DPD. The investigation measures are underway.
