Preventive measures were taken among the passengers in the metro

With the purpose of prevention of mass spread of the coronavirus infection (COVID-19) among the people, preventive measures were taken among the passengers using the metro.

In accordance with the legislation, at certain stations of Baku metro, the police officers brought to administrative responsibility the passengers who did not observe social distance and did not use personal respiratory protection equipment.

Task forces consisting of employees of the police department and employees assigned to service in administrative territories made preventive talking at the entrances to metro stations with the people who did not comply with current preventive measures. It was reported that, in order to prevent mass spread of the coronavirus infection among the people, each traffic participant should use personal respiratory protection equipment – medical masks, provided that social distance is observed. It was reported that each person, based on applicable rules, social responsibility, is to strictly comply with current sanitary and hygienic rules and requirements in order to protect themselves, their relatives and others, as well must call others to do so.

The passengers who did not have masks were given masks, people who use masks incorrectly, who said "we use masks, we have masks" immediately when they see the police, were notified of the consequences of infection.
Preventive measures are going on.

It should be noted that, in accordance with the legislation, the wearing of masks in closed rooms is obligatorily. A fine of 50 manats will be applied to individuals who violate the requirement to wear masks, 100 manats - to officials, and 200 manats - to legal entities. For repeated making this error by a person who has already received administrative fine, individuals will be fined in amount of 100 manats, officials - in amount of 200 manats, legal entities - in amount of 400 manats.
