As a result of the measures implemented by the officers of the 22nd Police Unit of the Nasimi District Police Department, 54-year-old H. Mammadov, 27-year-old G. Mashiyev, 23-year-old A. Babayev, and 45-year-old Kh. Ismayilov were arrested. They are suspected of fraud and misappropriating 120,000 AZN from one individual, 2,200 and 6,000 AZN from two others, as well as a cell phone from another person.

Following the actions taken by the officers of the 24th Police Unit of the Nizami District Police Department, 69-year-old A. Akbarov was arrested. He is accused of deceiving a 76-year-old man into transferring 1,200 AZN to his bank account. He had been previously convicted for a similar crime.  
The officers of the 26th Police Unit of the Yasamal District Police Department arrested 55-year-old P. Aliyeva, suspected of committing fraud deceiving a 66-year-old woman and taking 12,000 AZN. She had been previously convicted for a similar crime.
A criminal investigation is in progress.
