There have been reports of thefts in the Nizami district. A resident of Keshla settlement contacted the police and reported that 34 doors, 16 air conditioners and construction materials worth 30,000 AZN were stolen from the apartment he used as a warehouse.
Following the measures carried out by the staff of the 23rd Police Unit of the Nizami District Police Department, 39-year-old Ali Aliyev was taken into custody on suspicion of committing the offense.  Moreover, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, a psychoactive substance, obtained for his own use.
The police also arrested 44-year-old Parviz Allahverdiyev for stealing batteries from two VAZ cars in the Nizami district. The crime he committed was also recorded by a security camera.  
The investigation is ongoing.
