Complaints have been received at the Khazar District Police Department regarding the embezzlement of significant amounts of money from over 100 individuals in the capital at various times.
As a result of the conducted measures, 36-year-old Zahid Muradov and 33-year-old Naila Mammadova, suspected of committing fraudulent acts, have been arrested and presented for investigation.
Investigations revealed that Z. Muradov and N. Mammadova initially created fake “job placement” pages on the WhatsApp social network. They presented themselves as authorized individuals to build trust with citizens. Subsequently, they deceived these individuals under the pretense of providing jobs in various agencies, thereby embezzling their funds.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding these facts, and investigations are ongoing at the Khazar District Police Department.
