The person, who changed body and engine numbers of cars, holding as mortgage in banks, and sold these transportation vehicles, was detected. According to the press release of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ziyatay Aliyev, inhabitant of Khojavand district, was held red handed while he was changing body number of the VAZ 21214 car that is mortgage of 5700 AZN in one of the banks in his workplace- auto repair shop situating at Yeni Gunashli settlement in the result of operations conducted by the employees of Criminal Investigation Department of Baku Main Police Department. 

Registration certifications and signs, as well as cut state registration signs and body numbers belonging to "Kia Cerato”, "Chevrolet Aveo”, "Chevrolet Cruz”, "VAZ 21154”, "VAZ 21214”, "VAZ 21705” cars which are mortgage in different banks were founded out during review carried out in the auto repair shop. During the review cut and buried registration signs and body numbers were found out in the floor of the repair shop

In the result of the investigation it is determined that Z. Aliyev caused great damage to banks as he cut the body and engine numbers of cars which were mortgaged by the banks, replaced them with the ban and engine numbers of useless cars and sold as a non-mortgaged cars to individual persons in the car repair shop in which he was working in order to occupy property of others.

A criminal case was started related to this fact in accordance with Criminal Code of Investigation Department of Main Department. Necessary investigation and operational measure are continued in the direction of detection of other persons, participating mentioned illegal actions.
