The police successfully fulfil all the assigned tasks

10.07.2018

The work of the police, or rather selflessness shown in the service, as a rule, comes to the surface in difficult times, in extreme conditions. At this moment gives opportunity to assess its potential, its capability, and its professionalism.
Maybe using the word "opportunity" in this context is not entirely appropriate, because, the extreme situation brings problems with it, and it is incorrect to point out that this can create an opportunity. However, this should be considered permissible for ordinary people, because sometimes people are met in society, who are biased towards police activities. For them the opportunity to learn the police arises only in extreme situations, when they need help from the police.
Known accidents that occurred at night on July 2 and in the evening of July 3 at the Mingachevir Thermal Electric Power Station created difficulties in a number of regions of the republic, including Baku. The greatest rush in the capital was on the subway, because of the power cut off the trains remained in tunnels, there was a need to evacuate passengers from the metro. A small panic and high air temperature caused passenger suffering, young and old ones.
In this situation, the police also made a big contribution to the removal of passengers from the metro. Police officers who participated in the evacuation of passengers showed selflessness. Photographs that have spread to social networks and the media, show that to assist people, the police tried hard, tried to provide all possible assistance. Beginning with the first hours of the first accident, the police began to eliminate the results of sudden problems in Baku.
In view of the formation of obstacles to traffic safety on the roads, due to power outages during the night hours, the traffic police was on duty till the morning. That is, as we say it "day and night" stood on guard of order. Despite the fact that the disabling of traffic lights caused density in some streets and avenues, the traffic police immediately took control of the situation.
In this regard, the head of the unit of Baku city MPD STPD, Colonel Vagif Asadov said that immediately after the accident, all the police sets were involved by the order of the MPD leadership, roads and, in particular, the crossroads were completely taken under control.
All crossroads and the pedestrian crossings were provided with a police officer, who using the capabilities of the I-patrol system in the cars of TPS, and pre-giving signs to drivers and pedestrians, created an opportunity for safe passage of crossroads and pedestrian crossings. There was no serious traffic accident.
Head of the department, noting that in view of the fact that some traffic lights did not work, in certain areas of roads density arose, said that the management of all departments were involved in order to prevent accidents.
By the way, we note that the day after the incident all traffic lights on the roads of the capital were restored.
It should be noted that in order to eliminate the consequences of the accident, ensure the safety of city residents, the normal rhythm of people's lives with the joint efforts of the relevant state structures, in a short time the situation was taken under control. The police also fulfilled their duties with dignity and continues to do it. In a word, we can say that the police, demonstrating great dedication in creating stability, tranquility in our country, always protecting the people and the state, successfully fulfills all the tasks set.
