With the purpose of holding the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix competition in high security conditions on some of the central roads of the capital vehicle movement restrictions will be imposed. The restriction will continue on the streets and roads crossing the route of the competition, starting from the night from 22 to 23 of April until the event is finished. 

Due to the fact of holding the competition in the territory known as the circle of Baku city- Azneft, along the seaside boulevard - on the avenues of Neftchiler, Bul-Bul, Azadlig Square, streets of Pushkin, Khagani, Zarifa Aliyeva, Rasul Rza, Aziz Aliyev, Gosha Gala Tower, Youth Square, the streets of Istiglaliyyat, Niyazi, as well as on all other roads intercrossing in these streets and avenues, the direction is changing and vehicle movement restrictions are imposed.

In this direction, the car traffic is mainly regulated in the direction of the territory of the 3rd extreme circular road on the 14th kilometer of the Baku-Salyan road and Yasamal district, on the territory of the 20th section and the adjacent territories, in the direction of Mikail Mushfig and Metbuat avenues, through the circle of the 20th section to Badamdar settlement along the highland road, and in the rural settlement of Bayilov through the streets of Teymur Elchin or Mehdi Huseyn.

To prevent traffic density and traffic jams drivers who drive in the direction of Flag Square, Bayilov and the settlements of the 20th circle through Neftchilar Avenue and Azneft Circle, and also to the south, are asked to move along the intersections of Afiyeddin Jalilov-Yusif Safarov Street, Yusif Safarov-28 May Street as an alternative by means of Bakikhanov, Nariman Narimanov, Inshaatchilar, Huseyn Javid, Parliament, Mikail Mushfig, Metbuat and Ziya Bunyadov avenues.

In this direction it is advised to use private cars as less as possible and to give preference to public transport.
