International Press Center hosted the ceremony for rewarding the winners of the competition on road safety held among the Baku schoolchildren by “Azerbaijan National Automobile Club” Public Union. Making a statement at the event, the author of the project Azar Allahveranov gave information on the competition. He mentioned that the schoolchildren, who participated in the competition, presented their crafts over the nominations entitled “Picture”, “Poster”, “Video”, “Slogan”, and “Creative works”. Head of Department of the BCMPO, police colonel Vagif Asadov spoke about the essence of the competition. He mentioned that the projects aimed at the enlightenment are supported by the traffic police.
Then V. Asadov gave information on the statistics of road traffic accidents. He stressed that such projects are necessary to implement with a view to eliminate the road traffic accidents.
In the end, the competition winners have been awarded the prizes.
