Educational actions on the prevention of law infringements are carried out

Educational actions are continuously taken in cities and regions of the republic in a view to implement tasks with respect to the Law of Azerbaijan Republic on “Preventive measures on desolation and law infringements by the juveniles”, at the initiative of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

It was reported from the Press Service of the MIA that one of the relevant meetings has been held at the Heydar Aliyev Centre with participation of the upper class pupils of Garadagh district full secondary schools of the capital city.
The representatives of the District Police Department and the Executive Power, including pedagogical staff, narcologists and psychologists attended the meeting.

The associate of the Main Public Security Department of the MIA, police lieutenant-colonel Akbar Akbarov declared the purpose of the meeting and spoke about the subjects to be discussed. Making a speech on the “Role of internal affairs bodies on the protection of juveniles from the effects of their criminal tendencies and the violence against them, prevention of their biased evasion from education and of the spread of religious sects”, A.Akbarov gave information on the negative effects of the law infringements. He brought to the attendees’ attention that the tolerance is associated with the national and cultural, spiritual values, as well as historical traditions of Azerbaijan. The Administration of the District Police Department, Deputy Head of the Executive Power, associates of the local Commission on Juvenile Affairs and protection of their rights, the Registry Office, the Department of Education, doctor-narcologists, school directors, teachers, psychologists made speeches on “What we know about narcotic drugs”, “Narcotic drug or life” and the like for the purpose of propagandizing against drugs among the youth, and of enhancing the youth activity to combat against the adolescent girls’ being subject to the social morality, sexual abuse and child marriages. The questions of the schoolchildren’s interest were responded in the course of discussions, and a relevant video was shown.
