An event dedicated to the assignment of current year graduates of full time department of Police Academy to the middle chief vacancies in the police offices of the capital was held in the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the 28th of August.
    The Minister of Internal Affairs General-Colonel Ramil Usubov congratulated the participants on the occasion of the remarkable event – being awarded officer ranks, choosing a very honorable profession and way of life, and reminded that the assignation was carried out on the principles of transparency, publicity and justice, and this practice has been widely used in recent years.    

    The Minister of Internal Affairs highlighted that the country government always cares about young people and they take necessary measures to promote the talented young people who have strong moral, working abilities in public administration and internal affairs bodies, and the current event is the obvious example of this.

    It was indicated that 53 of current year graduates of full time department of Police Academy were assigned to the officer vacancies at police offices of cities and regions in the republic, and 52 in the capital.
    The Minister of Internal Affairs who was concluding the event congratulated young people once more on the occasion of being assigned to this honorable middle chief vacancy requiring responsibility, hardworking, strong theoretical and practical knowledge and gave specific instructions and advices. He particularly underlined that the course of the decisive struggle against crime, the persistence of stability in our country, the exemplary protection of human and civil rights and freedoms, which has been founded by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and is successfully carried on today by Mr. Ilham Aliyev, put great responsibilities on internal affairs bodies.

    The Minister brought to the attention of the citizens that this is an honorable duty, and the tranquility is achieved in our republic at the expense of intense efforts together with other law enforcement agencies, the comprehensive development observed in all spheres of society is based namely on the fact of stability as highlighted by our Great Leader and by our reputable President, the successes gained in this direction have always been highly appreciated by the head of our state. 
    Ramil Usubov, the Minister of Internal Affairs,  wished young officers success in their challenging and honorable service, gave them advices on maintaining the glory of a police name, constantly improving their knowledge and experience, acquiring the latest information technologies, approaching the requests of citizens sensitively and promptly, communicating with them in high cultured and restrained manner, being fair, objective and honest, and using the experience of their professional colleagues in their activities.
             The Minister expressed confidence that the young officers will spare no efforts in this direction, will serve the statehood, oath and Homeland faithfully, and will justify the trust.
