A thief who stole women’s gold necklaces was detained

Internal affairs bodies carried out next successful operation-search actions towards prevention of rubbery crimes and exposure of persons who have committed such offenses  against property and person.

On July 6 and 7, an unknown person applied violence against two women, citizens of Baku near the station “Neftchilar” of metro, Nizami district and stole their gold necklaces and escaped from the scene.

Vusal Rzayev, a citizen of Baku who is suspected of committing the crime has been detained and brought to investigation as a result of operation-search actions carried out by police officers of Police Station No. 24, Nizami District Police Department.

During the interrogation detainee noted that he has sold the seized gold necklaces for 360 manats to a gold shop.

The criminal case has been filed in accordance with the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and investigations are being carried out.

Police officers do not rule out that this person, who is suspected of robbery, was involved in other similar offenses. If there are other victims of his deeds, they can apply to the "102" Call Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or to the Nizami District Police Department.
