Bodies of Internal Affairs carried out another successful investigative operation aimed at the prevention of robbery and kidnapping crimes which are against personality, and exposure of such persons who committed these acts.

Gazakh region resident Ismayil Umudov who appealed to the Police Department (PD) No 12 of Sabunchu District Police Office (DPO) reported that strangers abducted and detained him at an unknown home for one night, then beat him there and robbed his money in the amount of 90 manats and 1400 Turkish liras.

As a result of investigative operations immediately carried out by the officers of the department Masalli region residents Javid Ibrahimov, his brother Valid, as well as Agil Nusratli, Khazar region residents Kanan Jalali, Javid Farzaliyev and Aghsu region resident Amil Guliyev who were suspected of committing the crime were detained.

During the investigation it was revealed that the victim Ismayil Umudov living in Turkey had met with a family member of gangster J.Ibrahimov via mobile telephone a few days before the accident. After being aware of that J.Ibrahimov invited I.Umudov to meet in Buzovna settlement, Baku by sending a message. J.Ibrahimov together with his brother and forenamed friends met I.Umudov who came to the date at that address.

The detainees after injuring victim and seizing his money took him to another member J.Farzaliyev's house in Albalilig settlement in the trunk of the "Opel" automobile and kept him there for a day. In that house they took I.Umudov's naked photographs and threatened him with sharing those photos in social network in case he appealed to the police.

In concern with the fact a criminal case started in the Investigation Department of Sabunchu DPO, and the necessary investigative operations are continuing.
