An Educational Event on "Healthy thinking, healthy future" was held with the joint organizational support of Sabunchu District Executive Power and District Police Department at the House of Youth.

At the event opened with the national anthem a video clip of the events which took place in the last two years was demonstrated.

Opening the ceremony with the welcoming speech the First Deputy Head of the District Executive Power Guloghlan Mammadov told about the consequences of drug abuse, our country's fight against it and the importance of educating in the direction of the healthy lifestyle.

Chief of the District Police Office Eldar Ilyasov, Head of Main Department for Youth and Sports of Baku City Ragif Abbasov, Doctor-Narcologist of the Republican Narcological Dispensary Asif Kangarli and others told about the facts of growth in the illicit drug trafficking , turning of the drug-related crimes into more serious problems and presence of adolescents and young adults among the drug addicts with regret and the important actions to be taken in order for the younger generation to grow up in the educated and patriotic spirit, to develop healthy and to avoid harmful habits.

Several principals were awarded Honorary Certificates "for their efficient services in organizing educational activities among pupils in the events on fight against drug addiction".
