MIA announced a competition for admission to vacant positions of chief inspector in press service

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MIA) announces a competition for admission to vacant positions of chief inspector in regional offices of Ganja, Shirvan, Guba, Lankaran, Shaki and Barda of press service.

The citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who graduated from university of the Republic of Azerbaijan on specialty of “Journalist”, having a work experience as a reporter, being under age of 30, did military service (for men), those who himself/herself and his/her relatives have not been convicted, being 165 cm and over in height (160 cm and over for women), complying with the terms specified in “Regulations on service in the bodies of internal affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, being registered in below-mentioned cities and regions on place of residence and actually living there can participate in the competition:


On Ganja region: Ganja, Goranboy, Goygol, Samukh, Shamkir;

On Shirvan region: Shirvan, Hajigabul, Saatli, Sabirabad, Salyan;

On Guba region: Guba, Khachmaz, Gusar;

On Lankaran region: Lankaran, Astara, Masalli;

On Shaki region: Shaki, Mingachevir, Oghuz, Gabala;

On Barda region: Barda, Aghdam, Tartar, Yevlakh.


The persons wishing to participate in the competition should personally fill out the electronic application form in the http://www.mia.gov.az/index.php?/az/content/29942/ from April 17 to May 17, 2017 and send it via e-mail to the e-mail address of press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (metbuat@mia.gov.az).
After receiving relevant notification related to the registration of electronic application, the candidates invited to participate in the competition should submit their ID card, university diploma, military card (for men) and employment record book.
The candidates winning the competition will be awarded with special rank and included in the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. At the same time, they will be entitled to use privileges applied to the personnel of internal affairs in the manner specified by law.
