Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia internal affairs bodies serves for the regional security

On February 28, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan Republic  to Georgia Dursun Gasanov meets with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Giorgi Mghebrishvilli.  

The embassy reported that D.Gasanov particularly noted the high level of relations between countries and the significance of projects of international importance which are implemented with the participation of Azerbaijan and Georgia. He noted that the Contract of Century signed due to forward-looking policy of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev, the project of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline,  Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway and other projects stimulates the development of the region.

The diplomat particularly noted friendly neighborhood relations between nations.

G.Mghebrishvilli said that there have been friendly and brotherhood relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia over the course of history. These relations established strong basis for the development of our relations in all spheres. Cooperation relations development between internal affairs bodies plays an important role for the providing of permanent peaceful conditions in our countries, improvement of nations welfare, as well as provision of security in the region.
