The contest on assigning 150 positions (including ten positions of juvenile officer only for women) consists from interview and test examination.

The interview is held by the Central Contest Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with the candidates who meet the requirements of “Regulation on the service in the internal affairs bodies of Azerbaijani Republic”. Candidates who successfully passed the interview participate in test examination on the questions related to the legislation regulating the activity of internal affairs bodies, international acts related to the rights and freedoms of people, as well as programs on defining of capacity on logical thinking.

Citizens of Azerbaijani Republic who receive juridical degree in higher educational institutions (graduates who got full-time education in the educational institutions of foreign countries and with specialties acknowledged in Azerbaijan Republic), persons under 28, fully accomplished military service (for males), persons who are not sentenced and those whose close relatives are not sentenced, persons who meet the requirements of  “Regulation on the service in the internal affairs bodies of Azerbaijani Republic” (except for those who worked  middle and senior commander, by restarting to carry out  their service in the internal affairs bodies) may participate at the contest.
 Only single persons registered in Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron district will be allowed to participate in the contest considering their residential conditions.

During the designating of the contest winners persons who are able to reside in those districts will be preferred.
After appointing to the position their official working places will not be changed to the police bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs located in Baku, Sumqayit and Absheron district for 5 years.
 Persons who want to participate at the contest must fill the electronic form of the application at the site http://www.mia.gov.az/index.php?/az/content/29821/ and send it to the e-mail of the Department of Main Personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs  bki@mia.gov.az.

After receiving information about registration of electronic application in the Department of Main Personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs candidates must submit these documents to the departments, divisions of territorial police: identification documents, diploma of higher education, military service card, work book (if present).
 The documentation required for the participation of person at the contest is maintained on the basis of submitted documents. Health condition and level of physical training of persons participating at the contest are checked according to the standards of the worker of internal affairs bodies.

 “The rules of contest for the admission to the service in internal affairs bodies”, the programs of test examinations and standards on physical training are placed at the site of Ministry of Internal Affairs www.mia.gov.az.
The documents for the participation at the contest are submitted to the departments and divisions of state, district policy every day from 10:00 up to 18:00 during the period from 3 February 2017 up to 3 March 2017 (except for non-working days).
