The deadline for state technical inspection of cars to be passed ended on August 1st. Drivers of the vehicles who have not passed inspection within the prescribed period shall bear administrative liability as required by the law. The employees of the State Traffic Police Department of the Baku city Main Police Department for the last few days have detected the drivers who violated the legal requirements, and subjected them to responsibility for not passing the inspection.

According to the State Traffic Police Department of the Baku city Main Police Department, drivers are required to submit their cars for the technical inspection in the 5th, 7th, 9th year since the manufacturing date, and after 11 years since the manufacturing date - annually. In accordance with the Article 339.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences, the owners or drivers of the vehicles should implement the technical inspection of the vehicle in the manner and within the time frame provided by the Law "On Road Traffic". For the violation of the present regulation a fine should be imposed in the amount of 50 AZN upon the individuals, 100 AZN upon the officials, 300 AZN upon the legal entities.
