The officer positions held appointments

On August 24, the Ministry of Internal Affairs held an event on the occasion of appointment of the graduates of the full-time department of the Police Academy in the past academic year for vacant officer positions of the bodies and divisions under the Baku city Main Police Department. According to the Press Service of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs, Mr. Ramil Usubov, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the colonel-general, opened the event with his welcome speech, stressed that the appointment process had been carried out fairly, transparently, and openly and that this method had become a tradition in recent years.   
   
He noted that promotion of the graduates of the Police Academy and employees who received a law degree to secondary officers and provision of support for them are always in the spotlight. Rafig Abbasov, Chief of the Main Human Resources Department, Police Major General, said that 53 graduates who were registered in Baku had been invited to the Ministry and announced the list of vacant positions and candidates. 
Subsequently, assignment was carried out by drawing. Applicants for the vacant secondary police officer positions drew the envelopes in which the positions were written and were appointed for vacant police officer positions of the territorial police departments.

By the way, 3 out of 8 graduates of the Academy who received honors diploma and excellent grades were assigned to the Main Organizational-Inspection Department of the MIA, 1 to the Main Criminal Investigation Department, 1 to the Police Academy and 3 to the office of inspector.
Summing up the event colonel-general Ramil Usubov congratulated the young employees on promotion to the position of secondary officer which was one of the significant occasions in their lives and wished them to gain success in their difficult and honorable service and to hold the name and honor of police in high esteem.  

The Minister added that both our National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our President Ilham Aliyev had always highlighted dependence of the future of our country on intelligent, sound minded, comprehensive, perfectly educated, faithful to homeland, and patriot young people in their speeches. He said that all necessary measures were taken for promotion of such young people in public administration, as well as the internal affairs bodies and active participation of them in the social and political life of our country. Colonel-general Ramil Usubov especially stressed proper execution of our National Leader Heydar Aliyev's and President Ilham Aliyev's genius advices and commands and provision of continuous state care for the young people.   

The Minister also emphasized that thanks to the care and support of the President the internal affairs bodies were provided with necessary equipments and technologies which were the latest achievement of scientific and technical progress, and as the result of the general development processes the working conditions of the personnel were improved.
Ramil Usubov, the Minister of the Internal Affairs wishing success to the young employees in their future works, and recommending them to make decisions independently, to advance their knowledge and experience, to constantly work on themselves and to get the latest information technologies said that he believed they would carry out the tasks and obligations responsibly, keep the police promise, and serve the homeland, state and nation faithfully.  
Making speech on behalf of the young officers Police Lieutenant Ilkin Mehdiyev expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the country and of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for their special care and trust and made sure that the young employees would justify the confidence with their works.      
The graduates participated in the draw were appointed secondary police officers pursuant to the relevant orders of the Minister of the Internal Affairs.
